A very personal, and political piece! I had to construct them first digitally using canva, then manually printed out the pieces for cutouts!
First time creating a vector portrait! I used a portrait with striking colors so I don't have to worry abt details that much, I just had to effectively pop out the colors!
This is mostly inspired from the Rappler logo, incorporated with 'corporate' designs, I really like how I used the colors yellow, orange, and purple
Alamat's Isapuso album! I want the "Isapuso" term to be associated with Cupid that's why I used Cupid's bow to be the main subject.
Had a eureka moment with how the curve of the S can be also read as an O, and I think the application of orange peels in the text is also creative!
